I started smoking weed when I was 13-14 now I’m 16 and I stopped about a month ago & I see no changes. I still feel lees motivations and alot of brain fogs when I’m in a conversation with someone. I am socially depressed & I have badly insane depression and a I just want to know if I will get better & will my brain heal after smoking weed.

I caught part of your talk on NPR the other day and I wanted to call in, but the anxiety I developed from almost 30 years of daily pot smoking prevented me from sharing my story. My brother and my dad and I were marijuana addicts for almost three decades together but all of us are now clean. My brother and I stopped smoking several years ago when my dad developed bipolar disorder from his 40+ years of pot smoking. This came during his 12 year fight from what doctors around the country diagnosed as pancreatitis but eventually diagnosed as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. I don't know if this syndrome is mentioned in your documentary but apparently it has become a lot more common since the legalization of medical marijuana. Anyway, my story is a very real story that almost tore my family apart. I suffer from social anxiety, my brother's marriage fell apart because of his addiction and my dad now lives with bipolar disorder. It is quite an amazing story and all of us cant believe we are on the other side of the fence now, no pun intended.Thank you for your documentary. I whole-heartedly believe everything that I've heard so far and believe that this information does need to get out there and have lots to add if ever needed.

I've lost my job due to the effects of marijuana on my cognitive abilities. I know it's not marijuana's fault but rather a lack of mental control over my desire to avoid pain. I smoked for almost 27 years. I had the job for almost 15 until two days ago. Bought a small bit as a goodbye, not sure why, but I stopped before noon yesterday and have strong determination to stay quit. I drove to a public place and secretly disposed of my pipe and container. I lost a very good job. Who could ask for a better wake-up call, opportunity to act on this loss and make a lasting positive change in my life? Thanks in advance for your support.

I live in Northern California. I just made it through the most horrific experience of my life quitting weed.

I’m recovering from marijuana addiction, I smoked for 1.8 years and I decided to stop cold turkey 6 months ago and since my quitting I am suffering from PAWS. Things have improved over time, but in the last 4 days got worse again, I’m quite depressed, thoughts racing, anxious, headache and bad/strange feelings.

I own and have watched your valuable film and am recommending it to anyone with whom I talk. I have ordered another to be sent to my step daughter's house for her to share with her 14 and 18 year old daughters. It is a wonderful production that I have no doubt will open minds and save lives.
I speak publicly about my son's death by suicide in 2014 and his note that included "My soul is already dead. Marijuana killed my soul + ruined my brain." I take his words to kids and to voters at every opportunity. There are far too many in our country that have not yet heard our voices that marijuana is NOT harmless. A link to your website is on my website and I have shared your information on Facebook and Twitter and will continue to do that in the future. Your message needs to be heard loud and clear.
